Pacific Transport and Sunbeam buses operate a continuous bus service 7 days a week between Nadi and Suva. They also continue around the island via Lautoka, Ba and Rakiraki.  The service is less frequent on Sundays.

Taxis in Nadi are plentiful but watch that they use the meter.  Flag fall is $1.50 and $2.00 after 10pm.

Running cabs run between Nadi and Suva and vice versa. The fare can vary as can the number of passengers they take but should cost somewhere between $25-35 or a Viti Mini Van will cost you $20 one way to Suva.

Around Nadi and Denarau you will notice a proliferation of bright yellow motor scooters carting tourists, both young and older, eagerly to their destinations. These are part of the Westside Motorcycles rental fleet  and can be rented from either their Namaka or Denarau outlets for around $60 per day.
