Denarau Island – Getting Around

Being close to Nadi transport is not a problem. Taxis and buses ply the road between the two regularly on a daily basis. The same in Port Denarau which is also the stepping off place for most of the boats that service the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands.

There are also two high speed ocean transfers available out of Port Denarau with multiple runs per days offered by the Malaolo Cat operated by Musket Cove Resort and the Tiger IV operated by South Sea Cruises. Sea Fiji also runs private charters.

Denarau is also home to the famous "Bula Bus" or Denarau shuttles that run every 10 minutes or so between the Denarau resorts and Ports Denarau. This used to be a free service (hence the name) but these days you can buy a day or week pass to get around.
