As one of the outer island chains, options to get to the Yasawa Islands are a bit more limited than some of the closer islands to Nadi and Denarau. Flights are generally limited to Yawasa Island Resort and their private airstrip or chartered sea plane options with Turtle Airways and Pacific Island Seaplanes. Helicopter charters are also available through Island Hoppers.
By and large if you want to get to the Yasawa Islands you will be looking at booking a transfer on Awesome Adventures’ Yasawa Flyer. This is a very large and very fast catamaran that can transport hundreds of people from the mainland to the top of the Yasawa chain. It goes up and down once a day. It is a very fast boat and the scenic journey will itself be included among the highlights of your trip.
