The Sigatoka Valley

From Sigatoka you can go inland along the west bank of the meandering river, flanked on both sides by a patchwork of flat green fields of vegetables that give the Sigatoka Valley its nickname: "Fiji's Salad Bowl." The pavement ends about 1km (1/2 mile) from the town; after that, the road surface is poorly graded and covered with loose stones.

Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park

 

As you pass the Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort heading to Suva, keep watching to your right and you can’t miss the visitor centre for the renowned Sigatoka Sand Dunes.


The Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park is located at the mouth of the Sigatoka River on the island of Viti Levu in Fiji approximately 3km west of Sigatoka.

Kula Eco Park


Just off the Queen's Road opposite the Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji, Kula Eco Park is Fiji's only wildlife park. Kula Eco Park is an environmental showplace dedicated to the conservation of Fiji's indigenous Fauna and to the environmental education of Fiji's children.

Coral Coast Railway

 

Train rides can be fun but the Coral Coast Railways does well to ensure that your last train ride will stay with you forever.
