Savusavu Dining
|
|
Dining out in Savusavu can be quite special as in any waterfront town or city. And not just the evening meals as you will see in the reviews below....

 |
|
Waterfont Café
This has of be the best lunch time venues in Savusavu if you want to chill out and read that book, catch up on a few letters back home, or simply enjoy the view.
The food offering is basic but tasty (and cheap) and the beer is cold! Coffee needs some work! But the real gem is Sailosi, one of the world's true gentlemen, who runs the place and his stories, knowledge of the region and photo albums to support the stories. Don't miss this one!

Decked Out Café
It's not on the waterfront but you can still see it over the road. Decked Out Café has a lot of ambience and attracts a lot of people, especially during the day. The food is excellent if you are after great burgers, nacho's and the like.
Expect a live band on Friday and Saturday nights.

Surf 'n Turf
Probably the most up-market restaurant in Savusavu outside the resorts. Location - beats anything else in Vanua Levu as it is right on the waterfront at the Copra Shed marina.
Excellent local seafood and the curries are amazing. You may have to wait a while for your meal so tune into 'Fiji time" here.
