Firewalking and Meke Show
You can witness traditional and authentic cultural shows that are unique to Fiji. Watch an intense performance by the popular Beqa firewalkers at many major Resorts around the country or visit Fiji’s very own Arts Village where there is singing, dancing, storytelling of myths and legends of the Fiji Islands all in an ambience surrounding Fiji’s traditional village set up.
Trekking
Fiji’s backcountry wilderness offers luxuriant sugar cane and vegetable farms, archaeological and cultural sites, volcanic mountains, tropical rainforest, waterfalls, rivers for swimming and spectacular highland views. Often included are traditional Fijian village hospitality and cultural experiences.
Fiji’s national parks offer fresh water, swimming pools, pristine waterfalls and low impact trekking, taking in our extensive native varieties of flora and fauna. Best known are Colo-I-Suva, Abaca/Koroyanitu [Lautoka], and Bouma [Taveuni].
